The Hall & Wilcox Technology team consists of highly skilled lawyers who specialise in technology law. We take a cross-practice approach to advising on technology and telecommunications matters, working closely with our clients to proactively identify and advise on issues crucial to their business decision-making.

 

Our capability includes advising on and implementing complex cross-border technology-based transactions, assisting tech start-ups, advising on all aspects of data protection, responding to cyber security incidents, advising on regulatory issues relating to cryptocurrencies, and liaising with government departments and regulators on blockchain and the taxation of digital assets.

 

We have extensive experience providing strategic support to clients undertaking enterprise IT projects, additionally we have drafted and negotiated technology procurement agreements, and assisted in negotiations with major vendors. We assist with all aspects of enterprise IT projects, including tendering/RFP approaches, negotiating strategy development, advice on regulatory issues, contract preparation and negotiation and advice on disputes.

 

With experience acting for both technology vendors and customers includes drafting, advising clients and assisting with negotiations on a range of technology contracts. We are also highly experienced in advising on and drafting a variety of bespoke technology online privacy and data licensing matters.
