Our litigators are have a wealth of experience in the local and national arenas and a highly flexible approach to managing litigation. While we are particularly well known for our trial experience, clients across the region and, increasingly, across the country, seek us out to handle all phases of disputes—from preliminary stages, where the goal often is to avoid litigation completely, through discovery, trials, and appeals. Many of the litigations in which we are involved provide clarity about issues such as the liability of mental health care providers, gaming regulations, and bidding requirements for public entities. We also advise clients managing disputes with former employees about the misappropriation of funds or in complex bankruptcy disputes involving allegations of fraud. In the past few years, our appellate and election teams have been instrumental in advocating for and protecting Pennsylvanians’ rights to vote, and we have helped clarify laws and legislation around the roles of public officials, including their rights to bring civil actions.
