Herbert Smith Freehills advised Ferrexpro, a mining company, on its response to investigations in Ukraine in which it was alleged that the company's CEO was involved in bribery and corruption concerning the Head of the Supreme Court of Ukraine. It was also, separately, alleged that the CEO had been involved in fraud and embezzlement at a Ukrainian bank he previously owned. HSF advised on the investigations and on related issues such as asset arrests and the detention of senior management personnel.
