• Our attorneys advise clients on the selection and use of trademarks, including conducting trademark availability searches, preparing legal opinions, negotiating and drafting licenses, and trademark infringement monitoring. We also facilitate US and non-US trademark registration, manage clients’ global trademark portfolios and advise on all legal aspects of brand strategy. We are known for enforcing and defending trademark rights, trade dress and domain name rights in federal court, before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and in arbitration panels, including UDRP proceedings.

• We negotiate and draft copyright agreements for a range of works – i.e., books, databases, digital content, fabric and wallpaper design, fragrance, jewelry, software and visual art. We advise on copyright law, facilitate copyright registration and defend clients in court in connection with copyright-related matters.

• Our team negotiates and drafts trademark, brand, copyright, trade secret, right of publicity, trade dress licenses, and related agreements -- i.e.,for software and content usage, publishing, product distribution and celebrity endorsements.

• We rigorously defend and enforce clients’ IP rights, successfully representing clients in contract disputes, in federal court, at arbitration panels and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
