Since the inception of the Indian competition regime, JSA has been a one-stop shop for all types of competition and anti-trust related matters with a dedicated. As such, we advise on all aspects of the Indian competition regime including multinational mergers and clearances, cartels (including leniency), abuse of dominance, compliance and other areas of antitrust litigation. Given the JSA competition team’s (Team) continued involvement with the regulator, coupled with its balanced and practical approach to competition law, it has been instrumental in shaping the competition law jurisprudence in India.
On the behavioural/ antitrust side, the Team’s in-depth understanding of antitrust and competition law, coupled with its commercially focused litigation skills have been the corner stone on which it deals with matters relating to abuse of dominance, cartelisation (including leniency) and dawn raid.
On the merger control and transactional side, the Team helps its clients navigate the merger control process, highlighting the risks and opportunities. As such, the Team has handled complex merger filings in both, the shorter Form I and the longer Form II formats.
