The department provides legal support to all parties (employers, trade unions, employees, public authorities) on all aspects of labour and social security law, including:

·        structuring of employee contracts in the context of large international groups;

·        conclusion, amendment and termination of individual and collective labor agreements;

·        monitoring of compliance with employment, social security, anti-discrimination, personal data protection and employee dismissal legislation;

·        employment litigation on matters ranging from professional injuries to mass dismissals.

The practice increasingly deals with labour law matters concerning non-Bulgarian and non-EU citizens working in Bulgaria, including:

·        issuing of visas for short term stay;

·        issuing of prolonged residence permits and permanent residence permits for citizens of non-EU member states;

·        advice on long-term residence permits for EU citizens.
