About

Provided by Linklaters

We have a long and consistent history of working on many of the ‘firsts’ and award winning transactions in the Malaysian market. This is best evidenced by our involvement in the largest corporate and financing deals in Malaysia. With over twenty years’ experience working with major corporates, banks, industrial and commercial organisations, and federal and state authorities in Malaysia, we continue to entrench ourselves by being involved in pioneer deals in the jurisdiction, of which several are for leading Malaysian banks/corporates and the government.

As members of our Malaysia team based in Asia primarily have longstanding experience working in the country, a core strength of our international practice has been the local knowledge and expertise that we have developed over the years from completing, and building on, some of the most complex and challenging transactions. The team also comprises fluent Bahasa speakers who deepen our understanding of and involvement in the Malaysian legal and commercial environment.
