Lydian’s Dispute Resolution department is an established litigation practice with 22 lawyers admitted to do advocacy before all Belgian courts and arbitration venues, with the exception of the Belgian Cour de Cassation.
Our Litigation practice is spanning all types of commercial litigation work, including dispute resolution, corporate litigation, commercial contracts litigation, reinsurance and insurance litigation, construction litigation, IP and IT litigation, and more recently, economic criminal litigation, too. We have a very highly reputed, broad commercial litigation practice. This is also illustrated by both our broad (and expanding) national and international client base covering all industry sectors (consumer products, pharmaceutical industry, metals, automotive, food and nutrition, cosmetics, banking, insurance) and our impressive track record.
Lydian stands further out in the anti-counterfeiting arena, conducting enforcement actions and border seizures for more than 90 brand owners.
In 2016, Lydian launched a multidisciplinary Compliance & Internal Investigations Team, which combines expertise in the field of employment law, criminal law and dispute resolution and insurance law. With the CINV team, Lydian meets an increasing demand from clients for an integrated and streamlined approach to the resolution of compliance and fraud protection issues.

The team also advises on contractual and distribution disputes, as well as debt recovery matters.
