Our Energy, Environment & Natural Resources Practice Group provides legal services, as well as government affairs and legislative advocacy, encompassing environmental laws and natural resources laws, along with energy regulatory, energy utility, and energy policy. 

• Expertise – Project due diligence, incentives, permitting, approvals, regulatory compliance, administrative proceedings, enforcement actions, policy development, complex transactions and litigation. Land use and natural resources on public land, tribal land, and Bureau of Management land.
• Projects – Public and private infrastructure, commercial centers, master-planned residential communities, mixed-use areas, industrial and manufacturing complexes, energy generation and transmission, and economic development.
• Renewable Energy – Development, financing, operation, powering and repowering, sale, and acquisition of utility-scale solar, wind, geothermal, and battery energy storage.
• Lithium – All sectors of the lithium ecosystem from raw materials (mining) extraction and processing to manufacturing, storage, and recycling lithium batteries.
• Energy – Work with public utilities to procure energy resources and infrastructure for developing and operating large-scale energy consuming projects, such as data centers, industrial complexes, and manufacturing centers. Negotiate PPAs and agreements with electric utilities, including high voltage distribution agreements, Rule 9 facilities agreements, and energy services agreements.
