About

Provided by Meitar | Law Offices

Meitar’s capital markets practice has two focuses – domestic transactions on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, in which we have consistently been ranked by the local financial press as the market leader, led by Yoav Nahir, and international transactions involving offerings by Israeli companies abroad, led by Dr. Shachar Hadar.

In the case of foreign offerings by Israeli companies, our competitive advantage is based on the significant U.S. capital markets experience of many of our partners and senior attorneys before joining our firm. This allows our firm to take the role of lead counsel in U.S. and London offerings by Israeli issuers, rather than simply serving as local advisor to a U.S. or English firm who runs the deal. We are able to complete the deal, therefore, at a much lower cost to the client. Another unique characteristic of our capital markets practice is our unsurpassed experience in debt offerings.

Since the beginning of 2014, Meitar represented either issuers or underwriters in the vast majority of all offerings by Israeli companies in the U.S. market, far more than any other Israeli law firm.

Our firm consistently ranks as elite/top tier for capital markets practice in all league tables, with strong showings as both issuer's and underwriter's counsel in all types of transactions, including debt and equity securities issued in international markets.
