In Romania, as in other Central and Eastern European countries, mergers & acquisitions were to a large extent privatisation-driven. We acted either on behalf of the Romanian Government, or for private investors, or buyers, most of which have been foreign investors, and we gathered a unique understanding of what dealing with the Romanian State and Romanian authorities entails.
