For more than 30 years, our Asset Finance team has advised the aviation industry on all aspects of domestic and cross-border aircraft leasing/financing transactions.
The majority of our work focuses on tax-oriented transactions known as “Japanese Operating Lease Transactions” with a Call Option (JOLCO) or without a Call Option (or JOL), and we close approximately 100 JOLCO/JOL transactions annually.
Our international team:
With seven partners qualified in Japan, England, and the US, and a team of around 20 associates qualified in a range of jurisdictions, including Japan, the US, Australia, Singapore, and India, we can advise on all parts and phases of aviation transactions, from commercial documents to financing documents, loans and leases, asset finance or limited recourse.

We regularly advise on international asset finance transactions relating to aircraft, including:

- syndication of global aircraft portfolio financing transactions
