About
Provided by Ogier
Ogier has one of the largest Dispute Resolution teams across our jurisdictions advising on technical, strategic and procedural aspects across the spectrum of contentious commercial issues and disputes.
A key contributor to local practice, the Guernsey team represents a wide range of clients – from banks and trust companies to corporate and commercial entities and high net worth individuals from across the globe.
Having been involved in many high profile contentious commercial, trust and insolvency matters in Guernsey, Ogier's Dispute Resolution team has substantial Royal Court and Court of Appeal experience. This includes obtaining freezing, mandatory and other injunctions, commercial investment funds and trust disputes, fraud and asset tracing, insurance, schemes of arrangement, insolvency and employment issues.
Notably, partner Simon Davies successfully represented the Carlyle Group, Carlyle Investment Management, and TCGH in a civil case thought to be the largest in Guernsey's history by financial value, duration, and number of documents filed.
