We have one of the largest IP teams in the North West and are well-known for providing the highest quality specialist advice to our clients.

Our IP lawyers specialising in commercial agreements have a breadth of experience in relation to the strategic protection and exploitation of IP, including through brand licensing and sponsorship agreements, technology, know-how and patent licensing, and research and development / collaboration agreements.

Our IP litigation team are well respected litigators and advise on the resolution of all IP disputes, including complex trade mark, passing off, copyright, design right, database right and patent disputes in the IPEC, High Court and Court of Appeal and other forums.

The team has a particular specialism in high value parallel importing and urgent interim injunctive relief cases (including search orders), as well as being respected for domain name arbitration and copycat product disputes.

Our team of nine lawyers (including four partners) has many longstanding clients across various sectors, including in the retail, manufacturing, fashion, hospitality, food and drink, consumer product, technology and IT industries.
