- Pryor Cashman LLP represented Ed Sheeran, Sony/ATV Music Publishing, Atlantic Records, in a music copyright jury trial in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. The case, Griffin et al v Sheeran et alarose from a claim from the estate of Ed Townsend, co-writer of Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On" who claimed Sheeran and his co-writer Amy Wadge had copied elements of the song for their 2014 song, "Thinking Out Loud".
