About
Provided by The Risk Advisory Group
For over 20 years, we have acted on complex asset tracing assignments and provided advice to external counsel in relation to the asset position, corporate footprint and status of counterparties in a range of legal proceedings and contentious scenarios. Our work in this area is international - we have conducted assignments all over the world and have particular expertise in providing advice and expertise in more challenging jurisdictions, where the information environment is often fragmented.
The Disputes and Investigations team work on an integrated basis with our regional teams around the world, which enables us to deliver regional expertise and in-depth knowledge of particular jurisdictions on each assignment. We are often engaged in the final stages of a dispute, when external counsel are looking to assess options for potential enforcement and require granular research and analysis to identify assets held by a defendant or respondent party, but a lot of our matters also involve providing input during the early stages of a dispute, to help legal advisers and their clients assess whether commencing proceedings is worthwhile, depending on the nature of our findings. Our team includes qualified lawyers and expert investigators with experience across a range of geographies and sectors.
