White & Case LLP represented Vertex Pharmaceuticals in two patent litigations brought under the Hatch-Waxman Act against Sun Pharmaceutical Industries and Lupin Limited and Lupin Pharmaceuticals, alleging that Sun's and Lupin's proposed generic versions of Vertex's KALYDECO (ivacaftor) tablet, infringe one of Vertex's patents.
