International Expertise

Aragon advises Latin American clients seeking to enter or expand their presence in the United States and/or Central Europe; the firm likewise advises US and European clients seeking to enter the Latin American market or grow their existing presence. The Monterrey-based law firm of Peña Mouret Abogados serves as our Mexican Co-Counsel and regional "hub" for Latin America. Three Aragon attorneys are either fluent or native Spanish speakers, and the firm possesses a long-standing and active network of local counsel in Panama, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and Bolivia.

Another important component of our outbound Latin America work involves assisting Latin America-based tech startup companies--usually at the request of prospective US angel investors or sources of venture capital financing--establish a corporate presence in the United States or offshore to facilitate investment by US and European LPs.
