Corporate M&A:
Deloitte Legal Mexico represents clients in complex domestic and cross-border M&A and private equity transactions, joint ventures, and investments. Deloitte Legal Mexico also advises its clients in commercial and general corporate matters and regulatory procedures as well as in spin-offs, divestitures, and minority investments. Deloitte Legal’s professionals advise its clients in all aspects of the transaction process together with the clients’ financial advisors and senior management. The firm’s lawyers also have broad experience advising clients in corporate governance.

Banking & Finance:
Deloitte Legal Mexico, with an in-depth understanding of the markets, advises its clients on the full range of cutting-edge domestic and cross-border financing transactions. Deloitte Legal Mexico also advises its clients with covenant and contract management and the creation of security interests in connection with the financing deals, whether they be structured or standard loans.

Tax Controversy & Tax Litigation:
The practice is specialised in all types of taxes levied by the federal, state or local government and advises clients in their tax obligations and in the execution and design of tax structures, maximising their resources and complying at all times with their tax obligations. Deloitte Legal Mexico represents funds, lenders, developers, construction companies, real estate investment trusts, and investors in complex real estate transactions spanning the entire real estate industry.

Energy & Natural Resources:
Deloitte Legal Mexico, with an in-depth understanding of the Mexican energy sector and the new model arranged by the historical 2013 Energy Reform, provides legal advice for the oil and gas industry to different domestic and foreign clients, private and governmental entities, for the strategy and execution of projects involving upstream, midstream and downstream activities and services, and other hydrocarbons related projects.

Intellectual Property:
The IP practice of Deloitte Legal Mexico represents clients from a wide variety of industries, such as: oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, food, education, real estate, banking and manufacturing. Deloitte Legal Mexico assists its clients in the acquisition, maintenance and enforcement of IP rights both domestically and internationally; in addition to the standard services of an IP firm, Deloitte Legal Mexico can provide services involving practitioners with financial or accounting backgrounds; such as IP auditing, IP valuation, transfer pricing studies for royalties, taxation benefits and government incentives through IP management.
