Denis Borges Barbosa Advogados is a boutique IP and business law firm. Since 1990s, the firm have been active in some of the most significant court and consulting cases regarding Intellectual Property and High Technology industries that were disputed during such period of time. Patents, trademarks, trade names, unfair competition, industrial designs, copyright, fashion law, trade secrets, plant variety protection, semiconductor chip registration, domain name issues: those are some of the most current legal problems in our daily practice.

The firm has Intellectual Property as a particular area of activity, either in litigation, advising clients for the best way of protecting their creations, helping the negotiation on licenses and development contracts, or just doing what the usual IP firm does: representing the client’s interests before the Patent Office or other agencies. The firm is not, however, the usual IP Firm. There are times when the matter is to propose new legal thesis; in other cases, public contract law, patent basis.
