We are regularly advising institutional investors, fund managers and other financial entities, on complex investment processes in Funds domiciled in Luxembourg, Ireland, Delaware, and Cayman Islands (among others). The team carried out detailed review and analysis of the documentation of each fund, negotiating the side letters and preparing due diligence reports and legal opinions. Said advice allowed clients to comply with the Chilean regulations applicable to these types of investments to achieve their ambitious investment plan in foreign alternative assets.

We have advised an important Latin American Pension Fund in the liquidation process of its investment in a Luxembourg SICAV-SIF fund for more than USD 100,000,000., where the team carried out a detailed review of the fund's documentation to clarify the Luxembourg regulatory framework applicable to this class of funds, as well as the rights of its investors.

We have also advised an important Chilean asset manager in the set-up of its first SICAV Fund in Luxembourg for an initial capital of USD 70,000,000. We helped in the process of due diligence, KYC, review and negotiation of documents, incorporation of the fund, as well as liaising with the Management Company, the Depositary Bank, Auditors and other service providers of the fund.
