Enyo is respected for its exceptional, partner-led, service at every stage of a dispute. The firm is known for its creative and commercial approach, for its effective implementation of its strategic vision, and for its ongoing focus on risk management. As a disputes-only specialist firm, it is conflict-free, completely independent and can act quickly. The firm’s experience also includes litigation in support of arbitration. Much of this work is confidential, but recent cases include:
■ Advising in relation to a Bilateral Investment Treaty claim concerning the alleged expropriation of a license for extracting coal where damages claimed exceeded $500m
■ Acting on behalf of a state entity owned by the United States’ Federal Government in three London Bermuda-form arbitrations worth in excess of $250 million, following an incident at one of the State entity’s fossil fuel power plants

CLIENTS:
Enyo’s clients include multinational corporations and major state-owned organisations as well as high-net worth individuals, and governments. They act in disputes involving parties in the corporate, energy, infrastructure and financial services sectors, amongst others.
INTERNATIONAL:
Enyo excels in complex cross-border work and the majority of its work entails a multi-jurisdictional element. Its lawyers are frequently called upon to lead multi-jurisdictional teams and the firm has native speakers in over a dozen languages.
Enyo is based in London and has chosen to remain independent from formal international networks in or-der to retain flexibility to work in other jurisdictions with leading practitioners and firms most appropriate to each client’s needs. Its lawyers maintain international contacts through client work, frequent travel and organisations such as the International Bar Association and membership of arbitral institutions.
RECRUITMENT:
Enyo has grown significantly since its founding in 2010 and continues to supplement its team at all levels with exceptional lawyers from the UK and abroad, many with prior experience working in magic circle and US firm backgrounds. They chose to work at Enyo for the flat structure, friendly ethos, quality of work and strong team spirit.
Uniquely for a London law firm, Enyo has an in-house business intelligence team to provide support both during and following the conclusion of its clients’ disputes, adding particular value by identifying assets globally against which an award or judgment can be enforced. This allows Enyo Law to be more cost-effective by avoiding the need to hire expensive external investigation firms and provides clients with a seamless service from commencement to enforcement.
