Competition law

Manev & Partners offers consultations in the field of competition law of the Republic of Bulgaria and the EU antitrust legislation, this including consultations on commercial concentrations, cartels, abuse of monopoly or dominant position on the market, and protection against unfair competition. The team has significant practice in representation before the Commission on Protection of Competition of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Bulgarian courts in cases related to violations of the Law on Protection of Competition.

Corporate and commercial law

To offer comprehensive legal services and to best protect the business interests of its clients, Manev & Partners offers legal consultations in local and cross-border commercial transactions, representation before the Registry Agency and litigation. The litigation practice covers all types of individual claims in commercial disputes, procedures for recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards, exequatur procedures, etc.

Public procurement

In the field of public procurement, the firm offers comprehensive legal services in all stages of the related procedures. This including initial assessment of documentation for participation in public procurement in terms of compliance with the requirements of the Bulgarian and European acts, further consultation and legal assistance in drafting of documentation for participation in an announced public procurement, and in the final stages – preparation and filing of requests for suspension of a public procurement, complaints related to public procurement procedures and against acts and omissions of the contracting authority, as well as legal representation before the Commission on Protection of Competition and the Bulgarian courts, competent in these matters.
