"Olivares Rodríguez Abogados" is committed to giving an original and innovative approach to each one of its cases. Its main focus is associated with "white collar crimes" and related crimes. In addition, since 2015 the firm represent and advise companies in the electricity sector in relevant matters, either in forest fires or in matters of a more economic-criminal nature.

The professional practice is complemented by the academic field, both in the publication of columns and scientific articles and in the participation in law congresses.

Faced with the need to fill the gaps in legislation and practice in the aforementioned matters, Ernesto Olivares R. has written several articles in legal opinion columns, in addition to participating in the Energy Seminars organized by the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In this sense, senior associate Víctor Alé M. has collaborated in legal opinion columns and has participated two consecutive years as a speaker at the Jornadas Chilenas de Derecho Penal, organized by the Instituto de Ciencias Penales de Chile.
