Amelia’s practice focuses on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. Amelia regularly represents both issuers and underwriters on domestic and cross border public offerings, private placements and listing transactions and has extensive experience advising clients on corporate and securities laws matters.
Amelia also advises public company clients in connection with M&A transactions. In addition to her transactional practice, Amelia routinely advises reporting issuers regarding ongoing governance and continuous disclosure matters.
Amelia completed her articles with the firm from 2011-2012, during which time she was seconded to the Ontario Securities Commission in the Corporate Finance branch. She also completed a secondment at a Canadian public reporting issuer operating in the retail industry in 2017.
