Practice Areas
Andrew Rhys Davies focuses his practice on financial services securities litigation and enforcement, with particular emphasis on cross-border cases involving securities, banking and financial regulation. Mr. Davies also represents corporate and individual clients in federal and state regulatory and self-regulatory investigations, including before the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, various state attorneys general and the CFA Institute. He has extensive trial and appellate litigation experience, including arguing before the United States Supreme Court in 2022. Mr. Davies also has deep experience counseling financial institutions on complex securities litigation matters.
Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Davies was a partner in another international law firm in New York. He previously served as Assistant Solicitor General for the State of New York, representing the state and its agencies in appellate litigation in state and federal courts.
