Anthony Giustini is the Regional Managing Partner for Africa, the senior partner of our Worldwide Projects group and founder and leader of the firm’s Clean Hydrogen Task Force (CHT). CC's CHT follows the latest in clean H2 regulation, transaction structuring and other clean hydrogen developments. Tony is concentrating on energy transition matters across the energy landscape, including oil and gas transition projects and clean H2.
As the CHT leader, Tony often brainstorms with market players across the upstream, midstream and downstream of the emerging clean H2 value chain, including developers, offtakers, regulators, investors, and lenders. He is leading teams on several GW-scale clean H2 transactions, for example, HyDeal Espana, a full value chain H2 project for production (solar powered), transport (via a dedicated hydrogen pipeline) and industrial offtake in Spain (steel and fertilizer production in the first phase), the Hyphen Project in Namibia, H2 and green ammonia production (hybrid solar and wind) for export and common use infrastructure for a series of H2 projects in Namibia's Southern Development Corridor Initiative, and projects in Morocco for the production of green H2 and green ammonia for export to the EU.
Anthony has several notable rankings including Band 1 in Project & Energy France, Project Finance Africa-wide and is listed in the hall of fame across several categories in the Legal 500.
