Arkadiusz Korzeniewski is a Partner at CMS Poland and a Head of White-Collar Crime in CEE.
He has over 20 years’ experience in representing clients in proceedings before Polish civil and criminal courts as well as domestic and international arbitration tribunals.
His sector experience includes representing construction, energy, IT and pharmaceutical companies as well as financial institutions (banks and insurers). He also has unparalleled sector experience having represented construction companies in cases involving the largest infrastructure projects in Poland, particularly in proceedings against public authorities. The majority of these cases took place under the public procurement law regime; many of them concerned issues related to securing contracts with bank guarantees. He also has a wealth of experience in advising on issues that have arisen under FIDIC contracts.
Arkadiusz advises in resolving disputes between shareholders, in particular, in cases concerning resolutions of shareholders’ meetings as well as civil and criminal liability of board members.
In addition, he advises and represents clients in criminal proceedings, in particular in anti-corruption matters conducted by the Polish Anticorruption Office (CBA), Agency for Interior Intelligence (ABW) and Central Burreau of Investigation (CBŚ).
