Adv. Avi Porten is the Managing Partner and co-Head of the Real Estate, Planning & Construction Practice of the firm’s Jerusalem Branch.

Adv. Porten is widely recognized as a central figure in Israel in the fields of assets, planning & construction and real estate. Before Joining the firm, he was Head of the Planning and Building Department in The Interior Ministry’s legal department, acting as legal adviser to the District and National Planning & Construction committees, as well as other significant roles in the institutions and planning committees.

Adv. Porten provides counsel for a wide array of high-profile clients; developers, landowners, government entities, local and international hotel chains, local planning committees and municipalities, educational institutions, health care institutions and numerous private and public companies in their energy and real estate projects.

He provides counsel on various complex aspects of a project’s process, including planning support, realization of construction rights, target changes and representation before Planning & Construction committees, appeals committee, government entities and tribunals.
