Mr. Egan advises U.S. and international clients on a broad range of cross-border legal matters with U.S. national security and foreign policy implications, including CFIUS and other national security investment reviews, export controls, U.S. and multilateral economic sanctions, supply chain restrictions and related trade issues, anti-money laundering programs, cross-border litigation and other disputes, cybersecurity and data privacy matters, and public international law matters. Mr. Egan has advised on CFIUS matters implicating virtually every industry sector and involving jurisdictions throughout Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. He has counseled on numerous export controls and sanctions issues, including compliance, licensing, classification, enforcement and related due diligence, and “blacklisting” issues. He has also advised numerous clients on litigation implicating the issues within his areas of expertise.
