He assists clients in the management of all their employment law needs and the drafting of employment agreements and policies, particularly with respect to compensation, incentive plans, privacy and personal information protection, non-competition and other restrictive covenants, French language in the workplace, occupational health and safety, and human rights and reasonable accommodation.

A seasoned litigator, Charif regularly appears before administrative tribunals and civil courts to represent clients in various proceedings, including on wrongful termination, human rights, labour standards and workers’ compensation. He also often acts for clients in urgent, strategic and high stakes litigation, such as executive employment matters as well as injunctions and restrictive covenants litigation (such as non-competes).

Charif supports clients in conducting internal investigations into misconduct and harassment matters, and is an experienced investigator in his own right.
