A Fellow of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers, Chuck Sklarsky is counted on by individuals and companies who are facing their most high-stakes matters. Through his esteemed career, he has been consistently recognized as one of America’s leading lawyers in litigation and white-collar crimes and investigations.
Chuck counsels clients on grand jury investigations, SEC investigations and enforcement actions, FCPA investigations and enforcement actions, qui tam litigation, complex civil litigation and appearances before regulatory bodies. He also advises clients on fraud and abuse, conflicts of interest and criminal tax matters, criminal antitrust, theft of trade secrets, securities fraud, and regulatory matters.
Chuck joined Jenner & Block in 1986 after serving more than eight years as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois and more than four years as an Assistant State’s Attorney of Cook County. At the United States Attorney’s Office, he held the positions of Deputy Chief of Criminal Litigation and later Chief of Criminal Receiving and Appeals. He was an architect of Operation Greylord, an unprecedented undercover probe of corruption in the Cook County judiciary.
