Chris Errico is a member of the Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies practice at Dentons. His diverse corporate practice represents fast-growing technology companies across the globe at every stage of development, particularly those focused on financial services technology, proptech, enterprise software, e-commerce, consumer products, clean tech and digital health.
Chris leads domestic, offshore and cross-border transactions for venture capital and private equity funds, institutional investors and capital market participants. He has extensive experience representing lenders and borrowers in debt finance transactions, including asset-based financings, traditional warehouse structures, mezzanine credit facilities and acquisition financing. He advises on complex securities issues, board governance, joint ventures, regulatory matters, strategic transactions, IP and litigation strategy. Over his career he has had responsibility for structuring and negotiating in excess of $15 billion in financing transactions.
Chris maintains a robust early stage company practice where he provides strategic insight and counsel to entrepreneurs on a broad array of issues, including strategy, organizational matters, seed stage financings, IP protection, employment and compensation. Chris works closely with a variety of nonprofits throughout the tech community and is a mentor at First Generation, a community that increases access to venture scale entrepreneurship for first generation and immigrant founders.
