Represents companies, board committees, and executives in government investigations (including those involving federal Grand Jury subpoenas, Civil Investigative Demands, and other requests) and related civil litigation. Prior to joining Kilpatrick Townsend, served for almost nine years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of North Carolina, in Raleigh. Counsels organizational clients on compliance and remediation issues, and conducts necessary internal investigations.
