Dan Crowe handles patent infringement cases, representing both plaintiffs and defendants, in a wide range of industries including computer hardware and software, telecommunications, networking equipment, electric motors and controls, business methods, banking/finance systems, automotive parts and assemblies, various consumer products, air handling equipment, and medical devices. In addition to district court litigation experience, Dan has been actively involved in several inter partes review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Dan served as a co-leader of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group for more than a decade.

Dan also has experience in trademark and copyright infringement cases, including litigation involving non-traditional marks such as trade dress, product configuration and product packaging. Additionally, he has extensive experience in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

In addition to his litigation practice, Dan holds experience with global patent and trademark portfolio management. He prepares license agreements, and performs intellectual property due diligence in connection with mergers and acquisitions and investments made by venture capitalists.
