Daniel Kligler is the co-founder and senior partner of Kligler & Associates. With his strong technological and legal background, Dr. Kligler sets the tone for Kligler & Associates as a leading Deep-Tech patent firm, serving both Israeli and international clients.

Dr. Kligler's practice focuses on patent drafting and prosecution, opinions, due diligence, contracts and litigation support. He is a member of the Bar in Israel and in New York State and is licensed as a patent attorney in the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the Israel Patent Office.

In more than 25 years as a patent attorney, Dr. Kligler has been involved in drafting and prosecution of several thousand patent applications, for clients ranging from early-stage start-ups to Fortune 500 technology leaders. His work focuses in Deep Tech – cutting-edge innovations in computer science, microelectronics, communications, optics, and medical devices. His strong technical background has enabled him to draft and successfully prosecute patent applications in the most challenging technical fields, including cryptography, image processing, artificial intelligence, advanced medical devices, and quantum computing.

Dr. Kligler brings to his practice not only technical expertise and legal know-how, but also the experience of having been an entrepreneur and manager in high-tech business before becoming a patent attorney. This experience has given him a deeper understanding of his clients' business needs and how patents can answer these needs. Over the 15 years that Kligler & Associates has been in existence, its Israeli clients have been acquired for a cumulative total of more than $20 billion by companies that include Nvidia, Apple, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, KLA, Sony, and Intel. Many of the acquiring companies have chosen to keep Kligler & Associates on as outside patent counsel, recognizing the high professional and technical quality of the firm's work.

By far the largest part of the practice of Kligler & Associates is filing and prosecuting patent applications in the USPTO. As a part of this practice, Dr. Kligler not only prosecutes patent applications that he and other members of the firm have written, but is also frequently asked to take over prosecution of patent applications that have been written by other firms. Dr. Kligler has frequently succeeded in winning patents for his clients in cases that were thought to be lost.

Prior to becoming a patent attorney, Dr. Kligler held research positions at the Hebrew University (Racah Institute of Physics) and the Technion (Faculty of Electrical Engineering) and was a founder and senior manager of two start-up companies.
