Career
Diego is an associate of Von Wobeser y Sierra and a member of the firm’s Tax practice. He has more than seven years of experience in tax and social security consulting and litigation. He is part of the Automotive & Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Energy & Natural Resources, and Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences industry groups.
He advises a diverse group of clients. He is a specialist in analyzing the tax implications (at the local, federal and international levels) of the transactions of our clients and in implementing efficient tax structures that permit the expansion of companies in both Mexico and Latin America. His experience allows him to also counsel on the application of trade agreements and in the design and carrying out of complex international transactions, including acquisitions, mergers, spin-offs and other corporate reorganizations. He is a key player in the defense of the firm’s clients in disputes with municipal, state and federal tax authorities, as well as in full compliance with tax obligations.
