Edward Rippey (Chair of Covington’s eDiscovery & Information Management practice) litigates, advises, and presents worldwide on legal, technical, and artificial intelligence issues. His practice -- which is remarkably deep and broad and covers the continents of North America, South America, Asia, Europe, and Australia -- consists of two major work flows. First, Mr. Rippey handles e-discovery in high-profile complex litigations, investigations, and arbitrations for such global corporations as AstraZeneca, Boehringer-Ingelheim, McKesson, MGM Resorts International, Northrop Grumman, SK Innovation, Takata, and several other high-profile technology companies. Second, he has a robust e-discovery advisory practice for such clients as Aristocrat Leisure, Astellas, Barrick Gold Corporation, The National Football League, Samsung, numerous international financial institutions, several election law entities, and other well-known conglomerates operating in scores of countries.
Other significant activities include speaking at leading international conferences, publishing articles in journals worldwide, and sitting on national advisory boards and institutes. Mr. Rippey and his team also author, and provide to clients, their annual comprehensive 300-page eDiscovery Essentials book.
