Giles has over 20 years of experience advising on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions in every major country in Southeast Asia. His practice focuses on cross-border securities offerings, with particular focus on high-yield debt and equity offerings in the Asia-Pacific region and mergers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate financings across a wide range of industries and sectors, including telecommunications, real estate / property development, conventional and renewable power, energy and natural resources, finance, transportation, manufacturing and agribusiness. Combining his expertise in capital markets and mergers and acquisitions, Giles has guided clients through a number of SPAC and De-SPAC transactions from Asia. Giles is qualified to practice law in New York and England and Wales and New Zealand.
