Career
Henriette enjoys handling complex technology transactions and disputes for international and domestic clients, with a focus on innovative software and data-driven business models.
As a partner in Bird & Bird's Munich office and a member of the firm’s international Technology and Communications Group, Henriette assists providers and users of software, hardware and innovative services in planning and negotiating technology-based or data-driven domestic and international projects and transactions.
She has extensive experience in advising clients on legal issues relating to the development, licensing and distribution of software, cloud computing and software as a service, data analytics, open source software, outsourcing and managed services transactions, e-commerce and m-commerce, IT in M&A transactions, data protection and data security. Henriette is particularly interested in new business models using IoT, Industry 4.0 and artificial intelligence.
She represents clients in IT-related disputes, both before the courts and in arbitration proceedings.

• Doctorate thesis on German copyright law (Technical University of Dresden, research scholar at the Max-Planck-Institute for Intellectual Property in Munich)
