Practice Areas

Jack Letson is a partner in the Corporate/M&A Team. Jack specialises in public and private company work including: mergers and acquisitions; private equity; take-over bids; public issues and placings; corporate reorganisations; shareholder and joint venture arrangements; venture capital and crowdfunding investments; corporate legal audits and corporate governance matters. He is part of a corporate team that has been recognised as the leading legal deals team in Scotland in both 2015 and 2016.

Jack advises a broad range of clients from spin out/high growth companies all the way through to companies listed on AIM/the Main Market. Clients come to Jack for his 15 years’ worth of transactional experience. Having been on secondment to BAE Systems plc, he also has an in-depth understanding of the commercial aspects of high value transactions.

Since becoming a Partner, Jack has been consistently recommended by Legal 500 and ranked by Chambers UK, with the latter commenting on his experience in both domestic and international M&A and private equity work.
