James Hargrove is a member of Orrick's International Arbitration Practice Group based in London and Geneva. James represents clients in complex arbitrations relating to energy, infrastructure, technology, IP and IT, banking and financial services, real estate, construction, aviation, shipping, trade and commodities, and telecoms in numerous continents and under the major institutional arbitration rules, including the Swiss Rules, ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, ICSID, AAA, LME and LMAA. He has long experience in arbitrations relating to major infrastructure projects, including conventional and renewable energy, as well as the trade and commodities and tech sectors. James also conducts investigations and associated offshore litigation, applications and asset identification, tracing and enforcement. He is a regular speaker on technology and construction disputes and is a member of the LCIA European Users’ Council.
