Jane has tackled some of the nation’s most challenging health care issues from inside the Executive Branch and on Capitol Hill, advising officials at the highest levels of government in the White House, Department of Health and Human Services, and Senate. Using this expertise, Jane develops and executes legislative and regulatory solutions and works directly with policymakers to carry proposed solutions across the finish line. She draws on a breadth of legislative and regulatory knowledge to solve client problems through strategic guidance and experienced navigation of the legislative and executive branches.
Jane was a White House special assistant to the President for legislative affairs, spearheading legislative strategy on domestic policy and solving complex problems through her detailed understanding of the legislative process and strong, bipartisan relationships with elected officials and senior staff. She also served as deputy associate counsel in the Office of White House Counsel, overseeing the legal framework for regulations issued by the Department of Health and Human Services and other agencies. Before her time at the White House, Jane served as a senior advisor to the Secretary of Health and Human Services. She also spent 10 years working for Senator John Thune, most recently as his legislative director after serving for several years as health policy counsel.
