Practice Areas
Jérôme heads our regulatory and antitrust, competition & trade practice groups in Paris. Before becoming an Avocat à la Cour, he graduated as an engineer from Ecole Polytechnique and obtained a PhD in economics from the Toulouse School of Economics. He used to be in charge of mergers and state aid at the DGCCRF. He represents clients in all areas of EU and French competition law, including civil and criminal cases before courts and international investigations. He also advises on regulatory issues, either sectorial or cross-sector such as safety, foreign investment, personal data and GDPR, cyber security.

Jérôme Philippe assists with FCA investigations, as well as advising on appeals against fines and follow-on damages cases. Additionally he is very active on merger clearance mandates.
