Karol Czepukojć heads the Restructuring & Insolvency practice group in Poland and also serves as a member of EMEA Restructuring & Insolvency Steering Committee. Moreover, Karol is a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions and Dispute Resolution & Arbitration practice groups in Poland. He holds a Polish Attorney-at-law's qualification and Restructuring adviser's license.

Karol focuses on strategic advisory in the field of insolvency, court restructuring, bankruptcy, debt recovery, distressed M&A and commercial contract. He and his team advise companies, their directors and owners, creditors (financial and non-financial), investors in distressed assets, entities whose counterparties are at risk of insolvency or have become insolvent, and all those who are considering available strategic options for such occurrences.

On 2019-2023 Karol was recommended and awarded a "Next Generation Lawyer”, "Rising Star" and "Next Generation Partner” in the field of Restructuring & Insolvency in Poland by a leading international legal ranking, The Legal 500. On 2022 The Legal 500 recommended Karol also in the field of Commercial, Corporate and M&A in Poland. Moreover, on 2023 Karol made his debut as an „Up and Coming” practitioner in the field of Restructuring & Insolvency in Poland in the next leading international legal guide, The Chambers Europe.

Karol joined Baker McKenzie in August 2020, having previously worked for a renowned domestic law firm, Wardyński & Partners, for 13 years. He graduated from the University of Warsaw with a law degree.
