Kathryn (Katie) Weiss is a partner in the New York office of Milbank LLP and a member of the firm’s Alternative Investments Practice. Ms. Weiss’s practice is focused on securitization, capital markets and specialty finance. She represents financial institutions, lenders, underwriters, sponsors and borrowers in securitization and other structured finance transactions.

Ms. Weiss is highly experienced in complex securitizations, with particular experience on digital infrastructure and whole business transactions. She has structured numerous fiber, wireless tower, data center and distributed antenna system securitizations and warehouse facilities. Select prior clients that Ms. Weiss has advised include Barclays, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Five Guys, Hotwire Communications and Diamond Communications.

Ms. Weiss was shortlisted as 2023 “TMT Lawyer of the Year” at the TMT M&A USA Awards which recognizes lawyers who worked on the most significant digital infrastructure, TMT investment and M&A deals. Ms. Weiss has been ranked in Chambers as a leading attorney in Capital Markets: Securitization: Whole Business for two years in a row. She has also been ranked by Legal500.
