Kyle Wamstad is an energy attorney. He represents clients in transactional and regulatory matters in the electric power, renewable energy, natural gas, crude oil and refined products sectors. Some of his recent transactional experience includes purchase and sale, asset purchase, power purchase, procurement, interconnection, transportation/transmission service and asset management agreements.
He works on trading agreements based upon International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), Edison Electric Institute (EEI) and North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB) master agreements and transactions for the purchase and sell of electricity energy and capacity, natural gas, crude oil, refined products, pipeline capacity, renewable energy certificates and other energy-related products. Kyle also advises clients on the financing, development and operation of renewable generation, gas-fired generation, energy storage, liquefied natural gas, pipelines and terminals, and electric transmission assets.
Kyle works with clients to evaluate the effects of ongoing federal and state statutory and regulatory compliance, including rules promulgated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Kyle advises clients on routine corporate matters associated with potential acquisitions, dispositions, and transactions, and the corporate compliance, business operation matters and necessary authority of counterparties.

Kyle E. Wamstad is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Atlanta office. Mr. Wamstad represents clients in various transactional and regulatory matters in the electric power, renewable energy, natural gas, crude oil and refined products sectors.
Mr. Wamstad is experienced in various forms of agreements specific to the energy space, including purchase and sale, asset purchase, power purchase, procurement, interconnection, transportation/transmission service and asset management agreements.
