László Jókay

László is a senior associate in the real estate team at CMS Budapest, he joined CMS in 2014. He graduated from Eötvös Loránd University, Hungary, in 2012 and in 2014 earned an LL.M. in European and International Business Law (University of Vienna). He earned an LL.M. in Environmental Law at Eötvös Loránd University, Hungary, in 2020.

László has acquired in-depth experience in a wide range of real estate matters, including property acquisitions, development and construction projects, commercial lease agreements, including the preparation and negotiation of transactional documents. Furthermore, László has substantial experience in the field of environmental law and advises clients on environmental issues, including regarding waste management, soil and groundwater contamination matters, EPR and liability issues.

László also advises on the legal aspects of ESG regulations, guiding our clients through the intricate landscape of ESG compliance requirements.
