Lionel is a Partner with the Restructuring & Insolvency Practice. He has had an active practice in insolvency work for the past 30 years, spanning a varied spectrum of matters, including advising on major restructuring deals, debt workouts, schemes of arrangement, judicial management and liquidation. He also regularly advises companies and shareholders in oppression actions, undertaking forensic investigations covering corporate governance issues, investigating fraud, breaches of fiduciary and directors’ duties, initiating cross-border tracing actions as well as facilitating the recovery of assets in tandem with leading international accounting firms and financial institutions.
