Career

Lisa is a tax lawyer who focuses on consulting for companies in the technology and entertainment industries. Using her expertise in digital law, Lisa provides a multidisciplinary approach to assisting clients in these markets.

Lisa also heads attix, an innovation initiative that Mattos Filho launched in October 2022.

Her tax practice specializes in consultation, transfer pricing, the applicability of international treaties, local and cross-border transactions, and structuring foreign companies’ business in Brazil.

In the field of technology, Lisa applies her broad knowledge of intellectual property, copyrights (including software), the rules of the Brazilian Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) and the Brazilian Agency of National Cinema (Ancine), as well as regulatory aspects of video-on-demand (VOD), streaming, music, advertising, sports, and sports betting.
